Esteemed OF member @Mad Dog and his daughter are pictured...

I mean really, how could they not use this photo to advertise the Introduction to Watchmaking course! 👍

Cheers, Al

How much I would have liked to take some courses in the 1990s. Hopefully now such things are more inclusive and no so age restricted.

When do I have to look to sign up for the online courses for next year? Looks like they are already sold out for this year.

Well this gave me a genuine chuckle this morning! I remember seeing the picture when MD posted it, but it's even better when they used this one as their advertisement for taking the course.

Thanks for posting that, @Archer. 👍

That was a very rewarding (and very fatiguing) three days at AWCI HQ back in March of 2018…

Hannah and I on our way to day one of the Introduction to Watchmaking course…

Hannah and I on our way from day one of the Introduction to Watchmaking course…

Our finished ETA 6497-1s…

LATE ENTRY: If I were to do the Introduction to Watchmaking course again, I would want to do a COA on the ETA 6497-1 that I initially built back in March of 2018. Not sure if that’s allowed but I can surely ask.

I think the part I’m most shocked and impressed by is that Mad Dog owns a smart button down collared shirt like that which isn’t part of an issued uniform. He’s looking downright dapper in that shirt.

Send it anytime, dude!

We only charge $9.99 for a full service on a chronograph…and only $6.99 for a full service on a watch with no complications!

Is that including returning it to sender or are you keeping it as part of your service?::stirthepot::

LOVELY, one of my daughters and I took an offshore powerboat licence course a few years ago which we both passed 😀 but it was a lovely bonding experience between us and something we often talk about.
