In Search Of George Ovanessoff Mercedes Benz Omega

I’m in search of an Omega Seamaster watch, probably 70s/80s with the engraving “George Ovanessoff Mercedes Benz” on it. I am George Ovanessoff’s grand daughter. He’s long passed now and I’m searching for one of the watches (apparently there were a few engraved with his name) to gift to my father, his son, for his birthday. Any help in tracking one down would be greatly appreciated.

My mother and I were just looking through a box of my late fathers watches on christmas eve, and found one "with compliments of George Ovanoff". It made us curious so we googled it and found this post!
The watch doesn't have a wristband, and there is a crack in the glass. It could be cleaned and restored I assume.
Just FYI, we live in Sweden, and my father has never worked at Mercedes Benz, but he travelled a lot and loved omega watches 😀 He probably bought it somewhere on one of his trips. I never saw him wear it.

Hi everybody! 😀

You guys made our day 😀 It's so nice to see this kind of helping and warm community. My mother was amazed when I read out your replys to her. She was like "how do people even see this!?!" I had to explain online communities to her 😁 (She is 65 and not really an experienced online user)

When my mother got out my fathers box of watches it was to ask me if I wanted any of them, because she was going to drop of some stuff at an auction house after the holidays.
I think it would be much preferable that the watch made it's way to OP poster's father instead of going there 😀
