    …is inside watch boxes and is used to support the watch inside the box, is often made of suede and acts as a wrist surrogate? Thank you :)

    I don't think it has an official name but they're referred to as a "watch pillow" or a "watch cushion".

    If you mean the hard plastic or metal piece that's open in the middle, I think that it's called a "cuff".

    But that's probably an informal name. I'm sure there is a more horologically correct French name for it.
