I just fell in love with something 5,246. I’m in Boston with my wife so I can’t purchase. I actually spoke to the manager if they take Bitcoin, yes I know it was a stupid question but if they did I could have made the purchase without my wife knowing. The store manager actually told me the corporate office has discussed taking bitcoin but for the time being I’m sure you understand I had ask. It is within reach though, never had a a watch with more than two dials but hey, it was beautiful.

Sorry went a little overboard with the pics. I notice they didn’t come out that well I got a little shaky. I’m gonna take it easy. I’ve been in bitcoin for years and ridden the the waves. I hold it more as my stance against the federal reserve more than financial gain, but let’s face it, financial gain doesn’t suck.

Think the name is Sydney Thomas it’s in the prudential near Saks Fifth ave etc. I was a bit concerned as I was wearing my Ben Franklin join or die t-shirt (logo he wrote during the revolution) and a make America great again shirt but I was in a hurry this morning as my wife had a business in the city and so my attire was not a big concern, well actually it seldom is. All I had on my wrist is a 1970 Rado I really like as its ugly as hell. The guys were real cool let me try on a few things and this one gentleman was very good, I was so close to buying I felt for my wallet but had to stop. I can’t do it. I need to sell my Rolex first. It’s not a humongous shop but very tasteful. Usually when I’m in Boston I hit freedom trail. Today I had to hunt this shop which took several hours. Glad I went though shook both the guys hands and told them they made my day.

I was being sarcastic! Sorry, despite having lived in the US for over 20 years I still can't shake off my British sarcastic sense of humor.

He really would have started giving you a look if you were taking pictures of their security systems as well!

 

Actually I was being sarcastic as well, they didn’t care but the Rolex lady seemed grumpy and the rest were Tags so I skipped them. Funny I’m on a boxing forum that has loads of English people and the same thing happens. It seems the English don’t think us Americans are sarcastic, perhaps it’s because we always are and no one can tell anymore

 

When I first moved here and made my heavily sarcastic jokes in the research lab I was working in, the reactions ranged from blank stares to outright offense, so I definitely had to recalibrate a little. Americans are sarcastic for sure, but the Brits can take it to a whole other level on occasion!

Anyway, glad we were both being sarcastic!

 

Perhaps one day we can challenge each other to the middleweight sarcastic belt of the world. The only thing that struck me is you mentioned being “sarcastic in a research lab”. I’d like to invite you to a few other professions here in the US so better may you judge our better wit. Researching things dulls the brain. I always say let it happen it will figure itself out no point wasting time researching it.

If I could have I probably would have as long as I had enough left over to do something positive with money. And if you read deeper into my excuse it’s that fact that omega does not accept bitcoin. If they had my wife would not have known as she does not have my private key. In case you are not familiar with bitcoin I’ll explain something to you. If someone says they have bit coin, there is a very good chance it’s true. If someone tells you how many bitcoin they posses they are full of poop and have none. Now I don’t want to go off on a tangent but Omega Corp or Swatch however makes those decisions was in talks about accepting bitcoin. And seriously don’t get into bitcoin now it’s too late, that is my own advice to anyone unless you have some cajones
