Impressive Redials

While collectors typically tend, for obvious reasons, to prefer original dials on vintage watches, even those, like myself, who don't own redials, can appreciate uncommonly fine examples.

So, I thought that it might be interesting to start a thread featuring really good redials. Please, though, try to show restraint, and only contribute examples that meet a high standard, so as to keep the thread on track!

There are at least two countries that have developed reputations for having fine redial artists: Germany and South Korea. I'll kick things off with a model that I am very familiar with, featuring a South Korean redial. I have owned more than a few vintage IWG Ingenieurs, and know the associated signatures well. This is excellent work.

As an aside, of course it would be easy for a prospective buyer to question the apparent newness/cleanness of the dial, but I am only concerned with the quality of the redial, not whether it would necessarily fool anyone in terms of patina, etc. Finally, the seller, to his credit, is fully upfront about the refinished dial.

I picked this up just recently and I'm very impressed with the quality. To the naked eye it really is excellent, only under a powerful loupe can I see discrepancies.
