I've been going through a trying time, and have been completely off watches for months. But i forced myself to re-arrange my drawers this weekend & found these. They managed to put a smile on my face so i took some pics.

I have another 2 at the watchmaker's & 4 in the pic need a service. I should bring them down this month when i get myself organised..

Anyone else collect these? I've lost out on a few auctions over the years so show me yours

They're small, with a 30mm stainless steel case & a caseback held down with 4 screws.

Most of them have a red cross of Lorraine on the dial, but some do not. I've always suspected that they were put on the dial to show support for the Free French forces of WW2, but have never found the smoking gun to prove that.

    Thanks for looking,

    Gordon.

No, I don't have Imperials like that.

I have a chronograph with a Venus 170 that is branded "Imperial":

I have tried to find out more about the badge; I believe it's a Buren owned brand. I would like to see some movement pictures of yours to see if they are marked with Buren or something else.

I also have a tri-date moon phase that is branded "Imperial" with a Felsa 693 automatic inside.

Gordon, I hope that today is a sunnier day for you. This hobby and OF can be a much needed safe harbour. Cool watches, enjoy.

    Those look really sweet.
Looks like a clamshell case, which has been discussed a few times in relation to other brands.
