5 week old Boris the kitten, that my wife rescued after his mother went missing. He’s now staying at our apartment in Brazil, being looked after by friends. For humour we named his brother Johnson.
A short holiday last year exploring the Moray Coast with the love of my life and the Beagle boys https://www.thechaoticscot.com/moray-coast/
Ok, I'll play...got lucky with this shot when taking an early morning walk on vacation in southern France. Loved how the sky and ocean just seem to blend seamlessly.
The first picture is of a Pearl Gourami in my aquarium. Quite hard to capture in a photo since they are very zippy fish. My photo doesn't do this creature justice but the pattern on this fish is simply mesmerizing, the way it plays with light is almost hypnotic. Mother nature is simply amazing. The second picture is of my town's square which is now empty, due to the stay at home order. Things will eventually settle down and I will be able to enjoy my long strolls through the city once again. The third picture is of the Transfagarasan, one of the many gorgeous sights in Romania. Thankfully, this picture does do the subject justice.
Lifts my spirits every time, but also brings tears to my eyes every time. Taken the instant Mrs. noelekal got to our youngest son upon his safe return to his Twentynine Palms, California base from front line duty with his first deployment to Afghanistan as a 0331 machinegunner. Little did we know at the time that second deployment there would be worse, but he came through it all safely. Adding this one of Mrs. noelekal, just 'cause.
A mother reuniting with her son who is a United States Marine returning from combat. Priceless...absolutely, positively priceless. Thanks for posting that pic, sir.
