I've eaten fresh bread of this variety in places such as Iran and Afghanistan, so this photo resonates. Delicious, but you have to be careful that all of the small stones used to separate them have been removed!

This is a field of Ukrainian sunflowers. My wife took this photo the last time she was visiting her family there. This is the very symbol of the Ukrainian flag.

The month of March and the lounger out of storage, temperature in double figures and the birds singing. Ended up stretching out with the Kindle for a couple of hours. Spirits certainly lifted 😀
Hopefully first sign of a summer to come.
