My favorite lake. If heaven has ever met earth, it was on the shores of the big one.

Absolutely! I am on the Canadian side of the lake and every time I go up there, it feels like I have been transported to the Pacific Northwest coast!

Week of incredible camping with the boys up on Lake Superior a few years ago. Lots of water sports too 😀

Oh how this makes me miss paddle boarding, nice shots!

Thank you. These shots were taken by my buddy who is a phenomenal photographer. That is me coming back from a day of kayaking.

My wife and I are huge water sports people and we travel to Hawaii yearly to do snorkelling, diving, paddle boarding, surfing etc. Of course no travelling this year due to the pandemic however, we are blessed to live by the Great Lakes so we were able to enjoy some of our water sports 😀

Frankly, it's better than the PNW. Less weirdos to contend with 😜

A few days ago we found an open table on the Fairmont Whistler’s sunny & heated patio. Commence the Feast of the Nachos 😁

On the way out, they were making FREE maple taffy lollipops ::psy:: I love a charming (and free) gesture!

Went for our daily exercise today and captured this swan stretching it's wings.

Took these one new years night when living in the Netherlands. They were mad as a box of frogs for fireworks - this is 100% private displays. I know one guy (not well off) who spent 250 euro for a firework from Germany the size of a kids mattress. Some just made their own Carbide bombs using old milk churns and fridges (they blew sh-t up day and might for three days). Madness … yes... stupid... yes... unsafe / fingers lost.... hell yes... But somehow it was all crazy and very in the moment alive in a good way :0)

We don't have a lake on our local walk...…. unless there is bad flooding from the river. But the Swans and Geese + wildfowl are happy and no local damage done yet (apart from a road closed) - In nature even the bad stuff can be good sometimes.

This is a happy memory of what I had not that long ago and what I hope to have once again....

November 2019 and enjoying a city break in Budapest with my daughters 🥰
Unfortunately our plans along with millions of others were hit on the head last year but one day I look forward to enjoying these times again 👍

York Minster - 252 years to build and I am still able to appreciate it nearly 800 years later. Whatever dreadful blip we are suffering now at some point it will just be a blip in the grand scheme of things (whatever the grand scheme is :0)
