    Good day,

Its been a few days since i posted New Omega collector needing help on the Vintage Omega Watches Help, Discussion and Advice discussion.

The past weekend i took the watches to be opened and to discover more from my watches but sadly they where only able to open the, which i now know is a 1954, omega the photos aren't very good but i managed to write down the serial numbers as well:

on the case back: 2802-5 sc
    on the movement: 14 790 884

A cool thing that i have learned was i thought going through the form that the chances are that it was a "bumper" automatic movement but to my surprise it was not i also learned that it is a Caliber 471 movement I could be wrong.

    EDIT:
after some investigation i found out according to omega website there where only 5 watches that used this movement the ones i narrowed down that looked like mine was with reference De Lux OT 2802 and De Lux CK 2802 and also it is branded as "Seamaster" so some of them has the seamaster on the dial where others don't.

But for those who did not read my other thread this is the watch we were not able to open. I'm only guessing but I think it is somewhere in the 70's Geneve self wind but further than that I have no idea.

    EDIT:
also found out its a 1966 with a 601 cal. but I'm purely basing this on images i searched and that looks just as mine.

I got a lot of advice from the reply's and I was very impressed and glad about the community that this site has created and amongst the reply's one of stated not to buy another omega until i find out more about my own but being a young and dumb 21 year old i could not help my self so the day after i found out about my 1954 omega i bought two more.

The one is a 1970's (I'm not sure of the exact date the seller and I did not have the means to open the watch) Omega Seamaster De Ville Automatic. Thanks to the forms i learned about appearance and it does not look like it was overly polished but there is some gunk on the case back that i am struggling to clean and I'm trying not to scratch it.

    EDIT:
    It looks like it is a 1962 with reference ST 166.0020 with a 562 \ 565 cal.

This one i have no idea about the previous owner was a miner and bought it second and within his first years of working so as you can see the watch and strap is badly scratched but the movement works perfectly and keeps time very well.

the only things that i know about the watch is what i can see so it is a Omega Geneve day-date automatic. I truly love the all 'Gold' style reminds me of what my grandfather used to wear I'm thinking of re-coating the strap or repairing it in some way shape or form.

    EDIT:
Also some more research it looks like its a 1973 with a reference of ST 366.0833 and a 1022 cal.
if anyone could correct me that would be great.

Thank you for reading. The forms has been helping me a lot I really do appreciate the knowledge shared with me.

    Regards
    Stefan

This one is an absolute beauty. Looks to be totally ok to me, also correct crown. Congrats on this one.
You couldn't open it because the DeVille line opens from the front, so you will need to remove the bezel and the crystal and work your way to the movement.

    Best,
    Javi.

Quick thought - maybe Edit title - You are obsessed?..... but not obsessive about schpelling (I suffer a similar problem plus I know English is not a first language for all members - I don't have that excuse though :0)
Nice watches / great start for your hobby.
