Overly excited to have received an XL variant of the Seamaster Polaris Titane multifunction in the post this morning, to go with the early Medium SPT that arrived yesterday.

Now to find a Palladium and a Titane Chronograph to complete the set!

Any other fans of the Polaris out there?

They're starting to creep out of the woodwork... This could be the beginning of the end, of me picking them up cheap!

Damn, what a weird watch  And I always thought the Marine Chronometer in my box would be the most ugly desirable watch :D

Can't see how it goes with the 458 unless it is because the 458 is soon to be consighed to history as one of the last NA Ferraris:

Welcome to the 488 The new generation of planet friendly sports cars announced this week. "There's no substitute foe cubes" has been replaced with "How big are the turbos you can fit in there."

Titane Chrono with automatic movement is very desirable IMHO :

:coffee: two watches in less than 48 hours….. denial is a common symptom observed in those suffering from addiction.. :cautious:

    BTW, nice Polaris! :D

To me personally, that is A LOT of money - but then there are people on this forum that spend thousands and thousands of pounds on watches.

So, expensive, is a bit or a relative term here.

As for, is it good value - Well it's not common to see this model for sale in Titanium... But I won't be choosing this watch over paying my rent, and eating for the next month! ;-)

    HAHA!

    Thanks...I think.

I wasn't expecting to win the XL (given what they've been selling for in the last year or so), but guess I got lucky! :D

This model never used to appeal to me, but a local jeweler has had this for sale for a bit now. I've never seen an inverse model like this, and I like it more every time I see it.
