Hi all wanted to introduce myself. Not a first time omega owner, I have had dsotm in the past. I was in a boutique in London looking at the gsotm and the dealer could see that I was not quite over the line with it. After handling a gold FOIS and all of the new versions of the dsotm he said he had something a bit different that he got in for someone else but they were a no show. That's when he showed me the 45th Apollo anniversary edition. Wow I was smitten. Anyway I actually left without buying as I like to research before jumping in I love how the watch mimics the moon, lander etc So I rang back and managed to secure it. I have added a strap as the NATO did not do it for me. I am now a proud owner. Thanks for reading.
I figured we needed a shorthand for some of these. I'd taken to calling it the 45 or the 45th, but that wouldn't work for my XI-35 for instance as there are a bunch of other 35th Anniversary Speedmaster models.
