Can anybody out there explain to me how to post photos.
i thought it would be easier and faster to ask one of
the forum members how to post pictures. rather than
hit the contact box. I made a large 904L hot plate for
my SS Danish tea pot.
i'm hopeless with computers.
thanks

Click 'add photos' then click 'insert photo' next to the uploaded image. You can find these buttons at the bottom of the screen

But between those two clicks click the position in your reply that you want the photo to appear or else the photo seems to appear in a random position, probably splitting the text you have typed.

I've once told somebody we could not exchange emails because of the fact I had a hotmail account and she a gmail. I thought only people with the same hotmail account could exchange emails. So I know the feeling.

17 years later and she's my GF and we have two kids. The stupid remark about the emails did it for her....

Thank you for your instructions. Here is a test photo or two... not sure if the photo files might be too large... i always wanted to see what 904L actually looked like and the weight. one thing ,
it is very heavy. i went on line and found a scrap yard who had 904. i had a piece sent out to me. i couldn't tell what it
was. a friend owns a shop that makes native American jewelry. the friend said bring the metal plate over and let me use the shop. buffers of all sizes and types. one thing. 904L takes a lot of buffing.
So now i have a hot plate for my Danish tea pot. most likely the only 904 hot plate in the country.

here is another pic of my 904 hot plate. have been lucky enough to wear a GMT for over 50 yrs., now.
i think the 904L is just pure marketing. I do not see any real difference in the two metals However, i'll
always have a Rolex on my wrist. Both metals scratch easy.

Could you just hold off with the 50 years jazz? I need another 12 months to compete 😉

Congrats anyway! 👍

It's a sweet story but I call BS 😉
