Illogical regret

I've had my finger on the "bid" button without clicking more times than I can remember. The regret of missing out on a piece I would have liked to have owned, when it's my choice not to bid, passes pretty quickly.

The disappointment/anger of being outbid by a dealer/flipper who doesn't actually care about the watch lasts longer. When the auctioneer is referring to bidders by their first name, I take it as an inside-job and a sign to walk out.

I don't dwell on it. Watches come and go. Plus, someone could outbid you at the last minute. Another one will come on the market soon if you keep your eyes and ears open.

Good luck
