·Raises an interesting question: the collector "tipping point." That's when all the piles of straps, bracelets, parts, boxes, and watches become a burden rather than a passion.
They're treated up to half a dozen times with Neat's Foot Oil. Allowed to soften and regain their shape. Then finished with at least two coats of Belvoir Balsam before going into one of these boxes to await a watch they'll enjoy being paired with.
I genuinely enjoy the whole process. Yes, I do have a problem ... but if you think that's bad, you should see me when it comes to repairing jewellery.
