If you could have no watch(es), what would you do?

Raises an interesting question: the collector "tipping point." That's when all the piles of straps, bracelets, parts, boxes, and watches become a burden rather than a passion.
I remove the strap from every watch I buy. Truly dead ones end up in the bin. The rest, though ... oh, the rest ...

They're treated up to half a dozen times with Neat's Foot Oil. Allowed to soften and regain their shape. Then finished with at least two coats of Belvoir Balsam before going into one of these boxes to await a watch they'll enjoy being paired with.

I genuinely enjoy the whole process. Yes, I do have a problem ... but if you think that's bad, you should see me when it comes to repairing jewellery.

I would spend less time on this 'watch forum malarky', and spend more time learning to speak Spanish. That way, I could understand 'what the fakk' my 'missus' is on about, and work out when my Peruvian in-laws are 'taking the piss' out of me on the phone!😟

They look like a 'cheerful' bunch!😁

It's a milestone b day, so was thinking about resurrecting my old enthusiasm , buying a decent new plank and amp and relearning everything with headphones on while she watches god awful TV.

May I suggest on of these amps for playing with headphones. Tiny size and great sound.

Wonder why a bike company hasn't named one of their products that yet? We have a dentist who calls their practice iSmile, so why isn't there an iCycle?

Hmmmm, maybe people would confuse it with icicle.
