That's quite a lot of money. I've bought a vintage JLC buckle in 14mm for less than half of that (€65) at a small clockmaker's workplace here in the Netherland. He told me he has a whole stack of it. If I can make anyone happy with it, I'm willing to try to get more. This is mine:
Hello BartH! It has been a while since you mentioned that you know a small clockmaker that can have these JLC old yellow gold buckles but I am actually looking for the exact same buckle that you have on those pictures up here, in 14mm. Do you think your small clockmaker's workplace can have some now? Thank you so much! best regards, Félicie
Here's a 14mm in OK condition. Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network edit: Actually quite poor condition, noticed the pitting on the underside!
Thanks! From my search seems that 14mm was much more common than 16mm. If I can't find one I might have to settle for 14mm and order a new strap.
