Well the good news it is a rare chronometer spec 2577. The bad news is the dial is most certainly not original. When you have seen a few Omega's this will become blatantly obvious, but as a big tell, when this watch was made, around 1950-51, Omega spelled Chronometer on dials the French way ie as Chronometre.

This was the case up until around 1958, long after this model stopped production.
Any idea what the value would be, noting that the dial most likely isnt authentic?
Typically redials are worth the sum of the parts or so to a collector. IF you find someone unknowledgable & greedy for a deal, you could perhaps get a little more. But to an informed person, this is about $300-$400 or so. A few hundred for a good movement, maybe a bit for a good case.

I’m considering buying this 2603-2 Jumbo Spider Lugsbut can’t seem to find the same dial reference anywhere.
I know it a redial because it was mentioned by the watchmaker, but it’s still a really great looking watch..
Any help or comments will be greatly appreciated.
