Identifying 1940’s ladies automatic model

G’day All,

I’m new to the Omega forum but was hoping someone can assist in identifying a watch that I’ve had for some time & am looking to move-on.

I had it serviced a number of years ago & presented it to my wife as a gift, only for it to languish in a drawer ever since (Apple watch takes precedence).

The Watchmaker who serviced the watch years ago suggested it was from the 1940’s, suspected it had a porcelain dial & suggested the automatic movement was not only rare but also valuable.

Not only have I no idea of the model but my ignorance regarding price is also profound.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

More 1960’s or 70’s. I don’t think that any small women’s watches had automatic movements in the 1940’s. Dial is painted brass or possibly silver.

Value is in the gold and not much more.

Hope this helps,

what is the case size in mm without crown? (It's not a normal UG case reference, so I assume it's locally cased, maybe Star? It would help to see the inside caseback).
assuming it is a small ladies size, which it looks to be, I agree, hard to see someone paying much more than melt.
