Hello. Can anyone help identify the watch? I bought this watch some 20 years, it was lying, now I want to restore it to its glory. from what I remember it is quite rare, it's about the color of the dial and the yellow date window. where can i find information, history, ? Thank you

You have an Omega Seamaster with a caliber 1012 (?). I can't read the serial number to date it but it's probably mid 1970s.

You also have an identity problem. The case shape doesn't match a reference 166.0216 if you google the number.

It appears that yours isn't the only example,

so maybe caseback mix ups at Omega or at a watchmakers.

Nigdy wcześniej nie widziałem automatycznej tarczy Omega Seamaster z lat 70. z cyframi rzymskimi na znakach godzinowych w połączeniu z kombinacją daty i dnia..

Refinished dial I think. The font looks too thick and that colour is very unusual.

When I fist saw this I thought the E in Omega looked off center. Figured it it was others would known better than I. Also curious the hand lays across the word automatic, like it is hiding something.

The roman numbers also do not match the house style. Not that roman numbers were not used. There is something off in the proportions that give Omega a certain feel. (which for me is like running one's fingers over soft velvet.)
