If the engraving on the back is accurate, you have a 1332 movement. This movement was produced in the 1970s and 1980s. If you can open the case back, please post pics of the movement and the inside case back to help ID.

·Not really confident in removing the case back..no experience with watches!!.. any idea of rough value?

Good tip dan. Found the same watch face here. Only difference is mine has the gold band. Not worth anything really 🙁 ahh well back to work no retirement yet

··Nowhere near as grumpy as he used to be...Ya I was thinking an original Ashton and probably a few dozen at least others I don’t know that’s why I say “usually” very rarely do blanket statements “cover” everything. I should also say I’m not anti quartz I’m wearing one now unfortunately back in the day I bought a quartz Rolex which I liked I just wasn’t hip to the scene at the time.
agreed and I have a quartz I wear more then I would have expected as well.
