Be careful with the pictures on that site... some watches are not 100% correct.
Watch head only range from $1200 to $1800 depending on condition.
+$400 our $500 for original bracelet 1170/653 that is hard to find
+$$ if recently serviced (but still all original)
+$$ with extract of archives

For example, I wouldn't sell this one for less than $2200, all original, correct bracelet, serviced 2 years ago, keeping time and with extract of archives, sold on august 13, 1973.

hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I have question on how much is a fair price for a decent shape 1971 seamaster chronograph ( http://www.timeline.watch/watch/1971-omega-seamaster-automatic-chronograph-ref-st176-0001-176-0007/ ),

And what I need to be extra care with when checking on one.

Huge thx in advance

Post pics of the actual piece you're considering here and we would be happy to give you more specific direction. Otherwise, there's a wide range of prices impacted by a whole host of factors.

The gold plated versions, even in perfect original condition, are not so easy to sell. Sold mine for about 1200 usd.
