Don't give up yet! Post a picture of your pet. Better yet, when you get your watch, ask if it has original lume.
Maybe most people are in shock and believe it's too good to be true.
(Don't look at my post history. 750 posts in the pet section. But, very few in the new Snoopy thread, so that's something. )
We newbies need all the UG experts we can get. It's a mine field out there. Don't leave.

·20721 is one of my favorite cases. I am a little surprised to see a tail on that second hand, in my experience those hands were used on cal 267 and I would expect to see a 263 on this case, which used tail-less second hands. But that's just going off memory, perhaps there are some exceptions, or maybe someone did a hands swap.

I'm going to need better photos of the dial. The script looks a bit chunky and the minute markers are not proportioned as I normally see on these dials. But it could all be an effect of the shitty photo and crystal distortions.
Still, nice case at the very least!

·Congrats! I've only won one live auction before on a vintage Zodiac Aerospace. Definitely a different experience than going through Ebay.

·I think people are being polite because it looks like a redial and probably not worth what you paid. Sorry. The important thing is that you like it, and this old soldier will have a new, appreciative owner! I have overpaid for plenty of watches in my collection, and I still like them so I don't care what anyone thinks. Enjoy!
