So wait it’s not the same one you sold years back right? You mean same model. Cause I have heard people say they purchased back the exact same watch they sold years later. That is very cool looking and what a great price. I don’t own a UG but really like them and are certainly on my “want” list. I wish I saw that one prior to you but I am trying not to purchase anything for a while, unless you were looking to move it for a solid 4.7% profit right now.

 

20721 is one of my favorite cases. I am a little surprised to see a tail on that second hand, in my experience those hands were used on cal 267 and I would expect to see a 263 on this case, which used tail-less second hands. But that's just going off memory, perhaps there are some exceptions, or maybe someone did a hands swap.

Hmm...

I'm going to need better photos of the dial. The script looks a bit chunky and the minute markers are not proportioned as I normally see on these dials. But it could all be an effect of the shitty photo and crystal distortions.

Still, nice case at the very least!

 

Congrats! I've only won one live auction before on a vintage Zodiac Aerospace. Definitely a different experience than going through Ebay.

 

Auction pictures were pretty bad, hopefully No Redial ! No 24hr track ? I'm leaning toward redial !

 

I think people are being polite because it looks like a redial and probably not worth what you paid. Sorry. The important thing is that you like it, and this old soldier will have a new, appreciative owner! I have overpaid for plenty of watches in my collection, and I still like them so I don't care what anyone thinks. Enjoy!

 

Been collecting 40 years, have over twenty all original pieces UG, the case is very rare !
Easily the case makes it worth the price. I think I know what I'm buying Adam, I own over 50 all original vintage watches. This is what we call an everyday beater to wear around instead of a 10k one !

 

Darn I’d like to see close ups of those moon phases you have there. My friend had one it was oddly small in case size but 100% legit. He is big guy and just can’t wear the watch, he can he just doesn’t like the fit. He was going to sell it at a very reasonable price, I was set to finally own a UG moon phase but he balked when it came to finalizing the sale. I had no anger whatsoever as I know what it’s like not to be able to let go of a watch. He was happy having it in his box untouched just to admire the dial, I can actually understand that so how could I get angry. I was annoyed as it was a long drive but found a hiking trail on the way back so it was all good.

 

What is the case size, diameter not including the crown, and what is the lug width?

 

20721 case is 34.5mm, and very similar to the Aero 22290. I found the lug width a bit of an inbetweener approx 17.5mm.
