I'd had an email from them saying a complimentary glass of champagne was on offer plus a copy of the most recent Omega magazine. Both were really appreciated:



However, I was just about to leave and was told to wait a minute. AD came back with a lovely bottle of Omega branded Bollinger. What a nice touch. The champagne is staying unopened until I get the call to go a collect my anniversary watch. Many thanks for the AD for a lovely morning and chat about these amazing watches.

There's no way to subscribe to that magazine, correct?

 

you can walk in and ask for the magazine (maybe based on already existing relationship), I phoned my ad where I have allocation for the Apollo 11 SS and they sent it free of charge.

 

I have to say they handed me the mag when I was walking around just scouting things out. The Omega sales man was extremely nice the Rolex lady was a bit on the cold side. I’m not saying she wasn’t decent (very nice looking) but she didn’t care if I looked at the watches. The omega guy would take everything out and let me try it. I remember one speedy was perfectly set for my wrist. He said it was meant to be. I began to feel the same. It was close, very close. I certainly can see why people would choose to buy from an AD.

The local Omega AD here in Cincinnati [Ohio] can’t wait for me to head out the door...don’t get me wrong, all the personnel are extremely polite and professional...I just need to chug less Dunkin’ coffee and work on my social skills prior to showing up at the local Omega AD. I’m working on it.

I don’t think they start kicking people out until the 90-100th time, so you’re golden.

 

Take your son and use the buying him a watch ruse, they love new blood.....

Was reading it last night. Some great articles. Definitely a keeper along with the watches (which will turn up eventually). Loving the photos of everyone else's recent purchases.
