Earlier today, my office was contacted by a local news network asking if I would be open to being interviewed as a medical expert for a story they were running over the next few days. The topic was on rhabdomyolysis and treatment in sports. However, that is not why I'm posting this. Like many of you, my worry was on what watch to wear while being on TV! Luckily, I had time over lunch to contemplate. Ultimately, there really was only one correct answer. Rolex would have been too cliche. Several others were too sporty and did not convey "medical expert." So, the decision ended up being pretty self evident. My wife, friends, and family were getting a big chuckle out of seeing me on television. However, I only had one goal in mind. Getting a couple screen pics of the watch! So, without further ado: Here are a couple pictures I took on my TV of myself with the most important part being shown. As an aside, how esoteric is that?! Me taking pictures of me on my own television of my watch that I'm wearing?
Thanks all, it was fun! You are correct sir. That event and all the publicity is what spurned the news to want to do a few pieces on it. It was pretty funny that the reporter whom was interviewing me had no idea how to pronounce the word rhabdomyolysis. So, every time she asked me a question, she would attempt it a few times and then stutter and finally say "that condition."
I was in the news once and completely blew it (as far as showing off watches goes). I had to wear long sleeves! Not all was lost though, you can see my friend standing in front of me proudly showing off his speedy broad arrow. Disclaimer* this is a dumb a** thing to be in the news for. Enjoy. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/13/worlds-biggest-pizza-heart-shaped_n_6677560.html Great job bushido! Long sleeves and all! Adam
Great choice! Speedies also came with a pulsation bezel right? Perhaps that might be next on the acquisition list?
Cool as cucumber. I have to ask if..... myOpic 'the condition' has to do with chronic type muscle ache? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
Technically speaking, that's a Selfie of a freeze frame documentary video featuring a Speedy on a Wristie in LED HD TV [emoji136]
Myopic means near sighted. Myo is usually the prefix for muscle...but not in this case because it's opic for eye.
