Of all the pictures I've seen online I never saw one with the back was without engraving, my father was a very interesting man he may have even one time worked for Omega but nobody really knows...his history is and will remain a mystery. I do know he spent considerable time in Switzerland and Germany but his heritage is English
The watch is a Omega Speedmaster 2998-5 with what appears to be an excellent dial, hands and bezel. The caseback (105.004-64) is incorrect as it is from a later watch. Of less importance, the bracelet is incorrect for the watch and has 2 different kinds of end links. It is quite a find! Edit: circa 1962
