I know it won't last long, and I know its a silly thing, but golly I find myself really liking the look of it and I kinda want it. https://www.amazon.com/Binmer-TM-American-pattern-Leather/dp/B016BUMROE/ You guys ever just find a weird, cheap little watch like this and something about it grabs you?
*edit* There is nothing wrong with wanting a cheap watch. But I wear and like watches for the watches sake, rather than for the design on the dial. If this does it for you, great - but I don't think you will find many that agree with your choice. With that being said, I decided to see if I could find a watch for less than $5 that I would be willing to wear that matched the same criteria - namely it isn't that the watch has an interesting design, but rather it is about what is printed on the dial. I found this one, for less than $3 shipped: https://www.amazon.com/Dreaman-Leather-Whatever-Anyway-Watches/dp/B01I1B4C62/ref=sr_1_192?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1469572384&sr=1-192&nodeID=6358540011&keywords=watch -paris
I bought this recently, cheap, kinda cool, I liked it so I got it...... it can't all be expensive swiss stuff or vintage pocket watches you know, we should be into this for the fun of it!.....won't be wearing it the NAWCC meetings any time soon though.
we don't go there on this forum..... if you start looking at value, cost and utility, you end up with a Timex quartz and then the "Ulackfocus" squirrel comes for you.
I wear cheap watches for work because there is such a high risk of them being ruined. It felt wrong at first but now it just feels like I'm being safe & smart. $12 at Walmart
Nothing wrong with a $2.00 watch................... If you spend wisely, and do what is necessary to resuscitate it! The watch was mine for 50 cents. But I paid $2.00 for it.
