It is priced with a starting bid of 2500€, obviously a 2998-3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network with no original parts left except the case and the movement (which should be correct with 1776... serial) SO the question is, is this watch worth the starting price for someone who is willing to try to find the original parts like dial, hands, bezel, crown. I would say yes, if you have the patience to search for the parts and have the spare money to spend for a watch you will not wear before it is put back into it authentic shape. What do you say?
whoa... it'll take patience, possibly many years but also, parts are so hard to get, will it be worth it? it'll take dedication... some people have it, I rather find one as close to original as possible and pay the premium.
these come up from time to time lately....... all omega changed service parts...... astorlive sold a 2998-4 for $ 3400 a few weeks ago. dial, hands, bezel new. all other parts good. kind regards. achim
