I just sold a $3,000 watch to an eBay buyer with 0 feedback. Please give me some advice.

No, not with ebay. BUT, you could be assessed higher fees if you receive poor feedback. That's the bigger reason you don't want poor feedback. Outside of the perception of low integrity to potential buyers (your seller rating is posted on each of your auctions), anything less than steller can increase your sales costs if ebay increases your fees. Managing your rating is a big deal. Everything but perfect transactions count against you. That's why some buyers try to extort sellers with threats of poor feedback. They know it matters, alot.
Interesting. I didn't have enough rating perhaps,. when I sold my first watch on eBay, few years ago. I was waiting for customer's feedback, before I could get money. Also, I have purchased the watch from eBay a few months ago and seller kindly asked me to leave a feedback, so he could get his money.
Anyways, that buyer could well be a scammer, who hacked someone's old account. eBay like a mine field nowadays.))))

I think this is outside the US, yes? I can only speak to US transactions. I have never experienced this but Ebay has country specific rules that vary.

I think your thread title says it all already. You just sold a watch, time to send it. Not much to do after you sold it.

Nope, both transactions were in the US.

OP: Buyer does not have to communicate with you, he already paid.

You say his address is verified - therefore it should be a legit address. You can also do a reverse lookup to verify this actual person lives in the house. You can go to his house and sue him if he scams you

IMHO, professional scammers will not want to $#!+ where they live. Send the watch. If there are any issues, it will most likely be from the fact that this is a n00b buyer (i.e. watch has no battery!), not a pro scammer.

You can of course cancel the order, but that is a mark against your account (of you care about these things).

If it were me, I would send.

I didn’t think about the reverse lookup. I will do that. Thank you!
