This one takes the cake for sure...
but not completely!!
Trolling the sales forums about 9 years ago and, I spot a really nice Rolex matte dial 16800 with papers. I immediately switch into HURRY THE F@CK UP mode as the price was, well, almost too good to be true. and start processing information as fast as my old brain will allow. The seller was semi-reputable.
Picture..... looks really nice at first, I think the dial isn鈥檛 bogus, good overall shape..

I鈥檓 excited.
Price: ........cheap but not unrealistic..YOU NEVER KNOW, seller is hungry for cash..
Seller rating: Semi reputable..... seller from the HK, PINK FLAG IS UP.......YOU NEVER KNOW, maybe maybe it鈥檚 legit
But there鈥檚 something familiar about this watch.
Well, time is a-wasting and the whole world wants this watch so what to do ??
Right, wire the cash and then sort the details...
After wiring the cash, case closed, problem solved, I realize the seller sent me a doctored version of my ex 16800 is had sold the previous year...(Pictured above on one of my guitars). I guess he found it on the internet.
IT鈥橲 WAS MY WATCH
So I sent this crook seller a message but no reply.... .
