Can someone tell me what model this is? My grandfather passed it down to me. There are no markings on it other than what you see on the outside in the pictures. No identification on the inside.

The OP has X-ray vision.

😉

Seriously, he may have meant the back of the watch/bracelet.

I brought it to Omega on 5th ave in NYC and had a full service done. Even they couldn't identify it.

Please show photos of the inside. Experts on the forum know a lot more about vintage watches than most of the people at the Omega store in NYC.

Looks like a U.S. made case and integral bracelet. Made under Omega license to Norman Morris Co., Omega’s US importer.

These were popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s. It doesn’t have a model name.

The rest of the information is inside the watch, on the movement and inside the caseback. You’ll need to take it to a watchmaker.

Hope this helps,

This is helpful. Looking at the service receipt now and it says:
Caliber - 620
Case reference - 5958
Serial number - N/A

If they couldn't identify it, they would not service it.

Information on the movement is here:

https://ranfft.org/caliber/8490-Omega-620

There is likely no information on the case reference. This was only used by Norman Morris and Omega destroyed a lot of their records when they took it over in the 1980’s.

Nice mechanism and relatively unworn 14k case & bracelet. Enjoy!

If they couldn't identify it, they would not service it.

"Identifying" as us nerds understand, has nothing to do with Omega's understanding of their watches.

They may not have been able to say it's a "De Ville" (for example).
But they could see all parts were Omega (movement) or Omega sanctioned (dial/case/bracelet) and would have no problem doing an Omega service.

I've had a watchmaker refuse to work on a handley cased omega because it "wasn't genuine"...

I trust you found an educated and competent watchmaker.
