Dear members, I now have the flightmaster to go with the Speedmaster and Seamaster. There are more masters to be had, but I am good for now. I bought the flightmaster with some guidance from a few of our OF members. It’s not perfect but it runs perfectly. And when I saw it in person, oh my… it’s a beauty. I will set it aside for a couple months to save up for a perfect service. I have used up my entire watch fund for this one, so I may never get the other masters. There was a slight problem when I picked it up. The clasp needed to be “let out” a few holes. My wife wore it all afternoon… but I got it back! And now with the clasp properly adjusted… I may not need that barbell anymore…. Seriously, it fits very well and is lighter than it looks. The case has dings and scratches, but still has the sunburst lines. The masters. Thanks @pdxleaf @kov @Dan S @Canuck @JwRosenthal @gbesq @JanV @TheGreekPhysique and others for your guidance and encouragement I love it.
Congratulations on your Master I have a watch that looks to be a close relative, by looking at the dials. Do you know the serial? Mine says hi and congrats
Wow that thing is huge! As a kid in New Brunswick (Canada) we lived only a few miles from the border with Maine. Loring Air Force base was nearby. Huge planes flew above constantly. They had 4 engines under each wing (if I recall). We called them B-52s. (??). But your C17 looks even bigger. Might as well add some watch pics while I am at it. Thanks everyone for your comments.
