I believe it's common perception that the Centenary 2499 and 2500 models were the forerunners of the Constellation line. The Centenary Club here is very popular. Everybody wants in. You'd be surprised who's in it. Even more surprised who isn't.

Nice avatar. I was with this.... ..... but I traded it for a black dialed Constellation 2943. Missed it so much I rebought another early this year to reinstate my membership. There's at least 5 or 6 other members with Centenaries here.
