Walked in to buy some plumbing stuff and walked out with one of these for $20. Nice little case for watches. Not a Pelican but good travel case and a lot cheaper

I bought half a dozen generic pistol cases made along similar lines for $3 each on sale at Big Lots years ago.
I use these to store my CO2 pellet pistols with accessories. Hadn't thought about using one as a watch case.
If for any reason I would wish to carry a bunch of my old watches anywhere I now know I have already got a usable travel case.

image.jpg image.jpg It’s not a bad idea I have about 15 of these I suppose I could repurpose one into a watch holder. Some padding over some wood and a little creative thinking. Might not be a good idea as I could make a lot of compartments and if I see too many open spots it may set me off into some kind of crazy hunt to fill it.

I still believe the Pelican is the best protection and has the best profile. A little more money, but worth it.
