Hi d4uk and welcome to the OF!
Speedy Mark II's are not found in abundance, but they are out there. I came upon mine from a fellow WIS from our watch group who picked it up from a contact in the US (we are in Canada). Mine is in good condition, and is an honest vintage piece, which is how I like them (If I can't wear a watch without fear, then I shouldn't be buying it!). I personally love the barrel case and the racing dial with the white and orange hands!
Gratuitous wrist shot...

and one in natural sunlight taken this summer...

I also have a more recent Moonwatch Racing dial (Tintin), which makes for a nice pair...(sorry for the fingerprints on the cases)

I picked up the Mk II for about $2K Cdn, box and papers included (originally purchased in 1974 from an AD in Port au Prince, Haiti of all places!).
I caution you, once I had both of these in the stable, I feel a strange satisfaction, and haven't been lusting after Omega pieces...I know, this too will pass (I hope!!)
Good luck with the hunt!!

d4Uk, I am not a big poster here, more a reader...but I do have a vintage MKII racing all original, unpolished case and in the condition as CDN's above. I would consider selling if you are still looking. I have lots of references, etc.
