After weeks of research and attempted patience, I ended up pulling the trigger on my first vintage watch: this 60s Seamaster. I like it quite a bit, and am already stalking my next acquisition. I can see how this hobby can become a slippery slope. Anyway, how did I do? It is supposed to be all original and looked fine to my still-developing eye, but I am thankful for your expert opinions.
Looks very nice to me, congrats on the purchase! Movement also looks very clean; was it serviced before you got it? Only thing I'd change is the strap!
Thanks! I don't know if it was serviced before I got it, but it keeps good time. I've been thinking of having it looked at by a pro just in case. I've been thinking about changing the strap too. Any suggestions?
Rios 1931 makes a nice minimal stitch strap that panatime sells if you wanted to go more casual. This is how it looks on my speedmaster.
