Hypothetically, how would you respond to Omega launching the 321 Speedy with a white dial? Do you believe the significance of the 321 safeguards it from such a release?

The 321 has been around a lot longer than the Speedmaster, both with and without white dials, so I don't understand your 'significant' point? Omega could just as easily release a vintage inspired Seamaster chrono, or a pre-Seamaster chrono as is mine here.

I don't think the modern 321 movement has been given exclusive black dialled Speedmaster (pre) pro designation?

Hard to predict problems with a new 321 vs 861-1861-3861. The 321 was a workhorse in it's time.
