How to remove center links

Greetings members,

After my Dad's Red Racing started me off I'm now heavily hooked on Speedy's with a 145-022-76 birth watch and a 145.012-67 on the way (if this pandemic ever slows down!).

I'm trying to switch over end links on an 1171 strap and I'm guessing I need to pry open the center link on the strap but wanted to find out for sure from your kind folks! The strap currently has 175 ends and I need to get the 633 end on. Any advise from those who have done this before please?

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes they can be pried apart but it is not suggested. Sell what you have and buy the correct one.

Can you file the 175 endlink that already looks filed to fit the 633 endlink?

I would not destroy the 175 endlinks. Try to find last links from any Omega bracelet with the right width. These are not to hard to obtain and install.

Kind regards Max
