How to open a case like this?

Hi guys, I am asking for your help to guide me on how to open a case like this. I have a watch withr that exact same case, and I am thinking of getting a overhaul done for it.

My usual watchmaker and I both couldn't figure out how to open it. I am did find a couple of images showing how it looks like after being opened.

YASSSSS guys I figured it out! Just push on one end of the hole!

This is in lovely shape. What year and where did you get it. It looks like late 1970's to me.
