How to buy a nato strap?

UK based and went with Watch Gecko myself as, though I love the stainless steel bracelet, I needed something a little more low-key for work.

Pretty happy so far as it’s more than comfortable enough and doesn’t add much / any height to the already chunky PO. I’ll have to wait and see how long it lasts but all good so far.

The only downside in my eyes is this enormous label that sometimes sticks out the side whilst worn! I may just cut it off, not sure why they’ve made it so big though.

Maratac Mil Spec for me. My choice although technically not a NATO strap. I don't really like all of the extra material on the actual NATO so the Mil-Spec band works well giving me the NATO look but much more comfortable for me.

Old picture of a 2254 on one of those straps.

Watch Gecko
Strapify
Strapcode

They all make good nato straps.
I thought I’d always prefer the 1.2mm thick ultra thin style but I just got a few vintage canvas single pass natos from Watchgecko and I think I have a new favourite.

my only gripe about cheaper nato straps are the buckles. thin, cheap buckles make me nervous. phenomenato and B&R bands uses better hardware but I think B&R are better of the 2.
I have omega natos which I love but hate the price. the B&R brand fabric is pretty close to the omegas in quality and the buckles are much better than nearly all of the others on the market in my opinion.

I’d start with a couple of cheap ones to find what you like.
I see the only options in my location are from Amazon. So I picked something that had 4.5 stars.
