How To Avoid Fake Connies?

    Hi guys, I am about to buy vintage connies
    that I've posted few days ago. Someone mentioned about Franken so I look on the net. There were lots of article about fake or franken watches. but I couldn't find a way to avoid them. Is there any easy way to check?

    Yes - either do your homework for years to know what the correct fonts are for each dial, and which calibers go inside which cases with what crown, or ask on a case by case basis by either posting pics or links here.

    Dennis is quite correct. You must spend the time in study to know the subject. You can can start with Desmond s PDF articles and blogs http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com/ and then move to reading everything else plus studying watches on forums and for sale on the net. There is no shortcut.
