·Taking my Speedmaster 105012 of my wrist with its freshly serviced 321 movement, putting it on the table to find a day later it has stopped at exactly 12:00 (we’ll plus one second), when it ran out of power.
I know some models of hour / minute / seconds hands want to stop on top of each other due to a small amount of magnetism. Like 60’ies SM300’s like to do this. They usually stop at any time the minute hand passes the hour hand.
But i don’t think this applies to painted Speedy hands, and for the movement to stop at 12:00 sharp?
Has this been ever discussed here in OF, or was this just a fluke of nature?
Should i go and put a ticker for this weeks lottery draw or was this my lottery win?
A Merry Christmas to everyone on the Forum!
