She probably had a better taste in watches than husbands

😵‍💫 When one is able to choose The watches they wear, you'd hope that would hold true.

On my last flight I had a seat neighbor wearing an 18K yellow gold Rolex Skydweller. He let me try it on and it is nice but was very heavy.

they have to do double duty on both wrists given the weight...

As waiting on a helicopter the other day with a few Italian Navy helicopter crew and had a chance to watch spot.
Younger guy had a Citizen Pro Master Sky
Older guy had a MoonSwatch Neptune
Old fox with all the rank had a nice old Speedmaster with a strap that has done a few years

Oddly I was wearing my Italian TCM orienteering

While at the courthouse yesterday ran into a business owner getting some forms, noticed he was wearing a Tudor Blackbay. Told me he had lost it for about 3 years and just found it the other day. It had some how ended up in a file cabinet.

Spotted an Oyster Perpetual on oyster bracelet on a younger gentleman's wrist at The Gorge White House winery yesterday. I saw a couple of chronographs on brown leather (no speedies and couldn't specifically identify any of them).

Oyster Perpetuals seem to be something I see pretty often- I saw another several weeks ago on a gentleman's wrist at a thrift shop.

Just saw a client sporting a Planet Ocean 43.5mm GMT blue dial on blue rubber strap. Gorgeous watch but a bit too chunky for my slender wrists. I complimented him and he returned it for my blue Aqua Terra 38.5. We could have talked watches all morning but I had to get the consultation back on track! Such a pleasant way to start the working day 😀

Went to a track day event a few days ago, and saw A LOT of nice watches: Omegas (AT, Speedies, Planet Oceans, Seamasters, GlobeMaster Travel Time, etc), Rolexes, APs (Royal Oak jumbo and chronos, …), TAGs, Seikos, Nomos, etc etc, you name it, but the following was probably the star of the show… especially since I didn’t even know that this dial variant existed!! 😵‍💫 (And given the GT3 Cup rocket ship the guy was driving… I can only assume it was the real deal! 😎 😗).

I was playing poker in Vegas a while back, around 1am in a low stakes games in MGM, and the guy next to me had the shiniest Nautilus I've ever seen (admittedly it was only the 2nd I'd seen in person).

Decided not to bluff him at any point as money clearly wasn't a concern in his life.

Well……..fake Rolex anyway, how many would be the real thing??? Hard to say.
Mind you I’d rather catch a dose of thae great galloping cock rot than catch public transport…….probably much the same thing really
The trouble with public transport it in the name “public” they let any bastard use it!

Who would want to share a confined space with those arseholes, no wonder I avoid it!
If they were real big shots they'd be traveling by chauffeured Limo or driving their own Ferrari, so not top draw financial experts just wannabes then.

I regularly discuss watches with my patients, especially when they wear something interesting and they are into it. Not that often with my friends.
