Finally moved these pics from my phone to the computer.
Playing the pipes on St Paddy's when I had an opportunity to stage this scene -

I'm on the bottom, there.
It was a good day for watches in the wild. Also spotted a Yachtmaster and a DateJust, before my vision became too impaired.

A fellow I work with has this one. He tells me he has a... wealthy...acquaintance who gave it to him. I need a better class of friend. -

Last week I took my WRX in to the dealer for a tire swap, and the attendant taking in cars for the quick lube service complimented me on my Speedmaster Pro (3570.50) and I noticed he was wearing a newer looking SubC date. I almost never see anyone else wearing a nice watch, and I am usually looking.

I discovered this weekend that a “car guy” that I occasionally work with has a Speedy MkII Racing 145.014 that he bought new and has worn daily ever since, except the one time he had it serviced. I really should have taken a pic of them together - next time for sure!

I'm in the wrong business if the attendant at the quick lube place is wearing a modern Sub.

Very rarely here in the northern Atlanta burbs. I'll occasionally see something random, saw an older looking 4 or 5 digit sub on the wrist of a manager at a clothing store, and saw an attendee at a photo workshop with a Superocean one time and a PO another time.

Actually he was working at the dealer, who has a quick lube service, so maybe they pay more than the jiffy lube or he got his watch from his dad like my son get's his. My son was driving a shuttle bus for a local resort the last 2 summers while wearing a $6K Speedmaster X-33, so...

Panerai?
Well. . . I’ve never been a fan personally, but they probably qualify more than an Apple Watch 😗

In Stockholm I've seen countless submariners... But I wonder if some were fakes.
I've seen one speedy, a 2531 seamaster on a guy who was out for a jog and at a work meeting someone had a 2254.

You have Jeff Stein living near you so you should see a nice watch or 100 now and again 😀.

I normally see almost none, but have just been on a work trip to Germany, France and Italy ... and have seen a staggering amount of Rolexes, also Panerai and Ap, Speedies and others besides ...
