How much do you think a set of correct 2998 hands are worth now?

    Specifically hour, minute and second hands for a 2998-5, 6, 61, 62 and 105.002.
Sorry for the "what is it worth" post but I have no reference points.
Can't check eBay or sold items here, where else could I find out?

Genuine ones are so hard to find it kind of depends how much you need them, if you know what I mean. Certainly got to be £1500 or so I would guess.

I think the triangle shape lume hour hand version is even harder to source.

I agree, that's what I have on my only example.
    Beggars can't be choosers though!

    Buying or selling?

The spread, based on observation, would be about $1200-$2500 USD over the past year or so.

    Interesting, thank you.
    Selling.

Edit. as it turned out, you were pretty accurate (at the top end of your estimate anyway)

Probably best to auction them and let them find their own price.

Assuming you wish to sell, Auctioning them will certainly reveal their value at that point in time, but only to bidders following that auction.
Nonetheless, it's a reasonable way of achieving the current market price.
