Yes, having witnessed several Apollo mission Saturn V rocket launches from close up, it is one of the most awesome sights I have ever seen. The power is just unimaginable and can not be duplicated on video.

Oh damn, I guess this makes me one of the conspirators. 😉

I have only stood beside a Saturn V, and I can imagine what it must have sounded like...

Until you see one up close I don't think you can really appreciate how big those engines are.

Why people think it was faked is beyond me. They baby-stepped their way there over the course of a decade, with each mission building on the last. Apollo wasn't the end, it was just one link in a very long chain of success. Today we have a space station orbiting which you can see with your own two eyes, with people on it. The fact we built the ISS blows my mind, and I can see it with the naked eye.

We went to the moon, we're going back, and someday soon we'll go to Mars. It's inevitable. It's really the only way we have a chance to save each other from ourselves.

There have been so many other proven examples of the government both lying and/or keeping the truth from its citizens (@citizenrich included) that I must remain personally remain a skeptic.

I wish though, that it were true, because I love cheese. 😉

Yeah, the government still wants me to believe earth is not the actual center of the universe...But, if the universe is limitless, wouldn't every place be it's center?
