After waiting for over a year for these to drop, I finally gave in on a trade as prices are seemingly staying firm. How many have flipped these?... and how many are keeping them?

My biggest regret as a collector was passing on Snoopy. If I had one, I wouldn't be giving it up any time soon.

Chuck, sorry of asking too much but how much did you pay? Currently as far as i can see lowest asking price is around 10 900 eur in chrono24? Do you believe prices will drop bellow 10 k?

I traded for mine, so not a cash transaction. Although I'd say the value of the piece is around what you are seeing. I am in the States and hadn't seen many offerings from dealers I'm familiar with, so jumped when it did show up. Could it fall below 10k? Yes, but it'd venture to guess it would take more than a year, but could just as easily stay at these levels. Caveat though is there are some important dates coming up, like the 60th anniversary of the Speedmaster pro and the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. If omega comes out with a design that desirable, then could drop.

I do understand when you have to sell in need of money but speculating with watch prices is outrageous.

Selling at 11 000 eur, which is surely at least 1000 short of 10 000 pounds allows making quite good profit. Especially if you bought it at list price. It is quite tempting i understand, but what i am afraid of is that speculative acquisitions of new models would start to lead the market of LE models.

I passed on the offer to get one from the boutique. Kinda regret it, never expected the price to go up by that much. However, this snoopy is so different from the other 19432895748925723 limited editions speedmasters I kinda see the price holding pretty stable. Unless Omega comes up with another couple similar ones. I do see the Speedy Tuesday model holding a good price as well, given how few reverse pandas there are and the fully brushed case.

Yes, this one is unique. I've picked up a number of anniversary limited editions and all but this have been at a reasonable price/discount after time. I wonder how Omega is going to top this when the 50th anniversary of apollo 13 rolls around.
