Having just received my archive extract confirming my MKii Speedmaster is definitely listed by Omega as a Telestop, thought it might be interesting to see how many of these watches were in the hands of OF members?. Paul(Fatcat) has had it confirmed by Omega that only 50 of these intriguing watches were made and the extracts seen so far are starting to make it appear most were delivered to Spain. Would be great to hear from anyone here with a confirmed or potential 145.037 Telestop. Also wondering how many were converted over the years, as mine has been, to standard pushers. Cheers, Tony
This is mine. Let's see what Omega will say about him. He clearly has the case with big holes for the pushers and the movement is also number 3285xxxx Misterious watches... ☺️
I’d say 4-5 are in the forum. There are some threads if you search. 2 showed up within days last month.
Hi to all, Just arrived at home and... surprise! The extract of the archives was in my mail box and confirmed that my Mark II is: 1. A telesctop 2. Was shipped with a corfam strap 3. Was delivered to Portugal (my country of birth and living) Photos to be posted tomorrow. Regards, João
Yes they screw onto the threaded pushers and the release cables can screw into these. I don’t have original release cables though.

Here are some photos of my Omega Speedmaster Mark II "Telestop" According to my "Extract from the Archives" it was delivered in april 1976 to Sweden. It's movement number is 32.858.XXX. It's obviously a rare bird, according to @Fatcat, Omega confirmed to him that only 50 examples were ever produced. After reading a lot about this model I found user @Mtnmansa's information very interesting. In his research a run of 12 prototype’s were developed for the Frecce Tricolori ("Tricolour Arrows"), the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force. No doubt for analog synchronization of acrobatic maneuvers. Here is a photo of Frecce Tricolori from the 1970s:
Here is a photo from 1979 where it looks like a pilot from Frecce Tricolori is wearing the Speedmaster Mark II Telestop
This one's been dormant for a bit but I was looking for a Mark ii racing dial and came across one with peculiar looking pushers. I had no idea what was special about this one until I found this thread, turns out it may be one of these "telestop" examples, reference 145.037. I have no affiliation with the seller, can't speak to the authenticity of the example and not posting as an offer for sale (Don't shoot the messenger). That said, I figured, since these "telestop" examples appear to be more of a rare bird especially with the racing dial, I'd share the photos and listing for those who know who are familiar may want to take a look. https://www.ebay.com/itm/225510710149Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
