I bought a movement for a project watch but ultimately I ended up selling the project watch. I could use the extra funds, so I guess it has to go. How do I package the movement without squishing the hands/pinion? Seller didn't package it very safely.

I'd use the caps off big juice bottles and a little bit of thin, non shedding foam. Little bit of foam in the bottom of the cap, movement on top of foam, foam on top, tape the crap outa it!

Kyle, do you have any watches with Steve now? If so, ask him to send a hard plastic container back with them. He gave me a few from Cartier parts and they work very well for stuff like movements & dials.

Yeah, should have asked him first. That was what I was looking for, although the bottle cap is also an interesting alternative. Thanks@

Gaffa /100mph/Duct tape. All the same thing and works best in vast quantities! So yes, that's the highly technical term! ;)
