    Hi everyone,
As question in title, i would love to get more involved and like the idea of mooching round watch fairs the odd time, dropping into some auctions to have a look, bidding at online auctions as well.
Then there is the e bay route, plus OF, and chrono24 and TZ (which i don't think i will ever get to join as registration has been closed for weeks!) The list of places, things to check out go on and on.
How does anyone else cover some of these bases? i have other hobbies as well, ( motorcycle trials)
Also a family, and fitting in some work occasionally !!! ;)
    Watchya think?

I think you just need to make a conscious decision that you will put watches before family, friends, business or career. Once that life balance has been found and regulated it becomes much easier :D

The Rolex collectors call it "Passion"
Some call it an obsession. Some admit addiction.
Some call it a hobby. What do you think it is?
Answer that and you might figure out where and
    if you fit in.

I hate it when somebody makes a valid counterpoint.

You forgot to emphasize it with a "booyah!" or similar outburst though.

No worries here. Contrary to some, I actually enjoy a good back & forth if it's done in good spirit. Hell, sometimes even a nasty dust up is fun too!

I don't watch TV apart from anything related to boxing, and the news. I don't have kids so that frees up a lot of time. I also collect 1st edition books which is similar to looking for watches.

it's easy -you move several thousand miles (eastward) away from home
in this way everyone you know is still at work when you get in -and don't come on line until you're ready to hit the sack.
therefore you have hours of piece and quiet to look at watches on fleabay or auction sites or OF - without any unnecessary interruptions from friends or family.....
