How do I know if my vintage seamaster is real or fake?

Almost spit out my coffee I'm laughing so hard. For the noobuttercup set, especially. Once you reach 200 then you can select an avatar of your choice. Yes, I realize I'd still be in that esteemed class; I'd wear it as a badge of honor.
